The documentary moves between behind-the-scenes footage from the making of The Forgotten Ones and scenes from the movie itself, to illustrate the connections between the lives of these teens and the art they created.This documentary, in conjunction with the film The Forgotten Ones, is a beacon of encouragement for those who feel they are marginalized, or that their voice is not important. Best of all, this film is teens talking to teens. Educators, parents and viewers of all ages can learn the power of the imagination and will certainly have their assumptions about people with special needs shattered.

Imagine That est un documentaire sur le tournage de The Forgotten Ones. Il nous présente les quatre adolescents, drôles et créatifs, qui ont écrit et produit le film. Des séquences du tournage alternent avec des extraits du film pour nous montrer la corrélation entre la vie de ces adolescents et l’œuvre qu’ils ont créée. Imagine That et The Forgotten Ones constituent une lueur d’espoir pour tous ceux qui se sentent marginalisés ou laissés pour compte. Le film est fait par des adolescents qui parlent le langage des adolescents.
